Brief info
Lynn Tehini Kassatly is a journalist and consultant for Cultural affairs. Tehini holds a BA in Media and Communications and an MA in Bi-lingual Journalism from the Sorbonne University, a BA in International Relations from Sciences-Po Paris and a Masters in Law from Saint-Joseph University. After working in Paris as a journalist for Reporters Without Borders and then for the international news channel France 24, she relocated to Beirut in 2008 as a Media and Cultural Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic of Lebanon. At the end of the president’s mandate in 2014, she joined the Ministry of Culture as an Advisor to the Minister where she remained until August 2020, resigning after the Beirut port explosion.
In parallel, since 2019, Tehini was part of the Presidency of Council of Minister team as a Cultural Advisor. She regularly works as a consultant/expert in the cultural field for various consultancy firms in the Arab world.
Tehini teaches Public & Press Relations at Saint Joseph University and is an active member of several NGOs including Lebanon of Tomorrow (board member) and Cenacle de la Lumiere. She is also a member of the Baalback
International Festival General Assembly.
